No one should need a food bank to survive

In the last year a staggering 3.1 million emergency food parcels were provided by food banks in our network to people facing hardship across the UK.  The level of need at food banks continues to grow, as people simply don’t have enough money to get by.

A gift from you could help provide not only emergency food, but also access to advice and support so people won’t need emergency food in the future.

We need your support

The number of people going without the essentials is higher than ever before.

More than 3.1 million emergency food parcels were distributed by food banks in the Trussell Trust network to people facing hardship across the UK in the past 12 months – this is the most parcels the network has ever distributed in a single year.

This can’t be allowed to continue. We know that we need a social security system that’s fit for purpose, that guarantees the essentials and means no one needs a food bank to survive.

Whilst we campaign for change, you can help food banks continue to provide emergency support.  Donate today to support people facing hunger and poverty.
